Search still on for missing teens

The search for two missing Alabama teens continued Wednesday.

Jason Price, 18, of Clanton, and his girlfriend Candice Ashley, 15, of Autauga County, were last seen between the hours of midnight and 1 a.m. July 1 at their respective homes.

Price was last known to be driving a gold, four-door 2002 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup with the license plate No. 1455S5.

Chilton County Sheriff Kevin Davis said his department was actively searching for the two, and that Price could face charges.

“We have a warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle,” he said. “We’re doing some following up on leads.”

Captain Jim Steele of the Autauga County Sheriff’s Department said they were exploring all possibilities as to where the two teens might be.

“We are working a missing child’s case,” he said. “And we are diligently working this case; it’s an open investigation. We’ve put national and regional bulletin that she is missing.”

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the two is encouraged to call either the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office at (334)-361-2500 or the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office at (205)-755-1120.
