Chilton County High School’s homecoming ceremonies will kick off Friday with the annual homecoming pep rally at 8 a.m. in the school gymnasium.

The rally will be held in the morning rather than the afternoon to accommodate the TV schedule, said coordinator Sheri McKee. A portion of event is scheduled to air live on Fox 6.

The homecoming parade will depart from the Fred’s parking lot at 3:30 p.m. and circle through downtown by way of Highway 31, Jackson Avenue and Sixth Street before returning to Fred’s.

The pregame activities are set for 6:30 p.m. at Tiger Stadium. During the pregame, the homecoming king and queen will be crowned.

At 7 p.m., the CCHS Tigers will play Wilcox Central at Tiger Stadium.

“We’re excited about celebrating with the football team and hope all this spirit can help bring them to victory,” McKee said.
