Missing teens found in Tennessee

The search for a missing Clanton teen and his girlfriend is over.

Police have located Jason Price, 18, of Clanton, and Candice Ashley, 15, of Autauga County in the town of Monroeville, Tenn., just south of Knoxville.

“[Price] ended up calling his mother after running out of money,” said Capt. Jim Price of the Autauga County Sheriff’s Department.

He applauded the families of the teens for their assistance in the search efforts.

“The families have been cooperative the whole time,” he said. “They made a point to run up there [to where Price and Ashley were] as soon as [the teens] called. The families called us and let us know, and contacted the authorities up there as well.”

The two went missing July 1, and Steele said that Price is being charged with interference of custody.
