Aubrey Randall Burnette, 73, of Clanton died Friday, March 23, 2012, at St. Vincent’s in Birmingham.

He was born on Friday, March 10, 1939, in Chilton County, the son of the late Cobb Burnette and the late Willie Lee McKinley Burnette. He was a produce manager.

Surviving are his wife, Fay Headley Burnette of Clanton; brother, Eason (Jerrye) Burnette of Clanton; special niece, Deborah (Joe) Dennis of Clanton; special nephew, Keith (Pam) Burnette of Jemison; special nephew, Jim (Linda) Thompson of Bessemer; and special nephew, Stacey (Carol) Headley of Memphis, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his brother, E.J. Burnette; brother, Horace Burnette; brother, Oscar “Al” Burnette; sister, Hazel Childers; and sister, Margaret Coggins.

Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Bell Lane Baptist Church. Services were held Sunday, March 25, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Bell Lane Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Powell, the Rev. Ken Chandler and the Rev. Mark Shields officiating. Interment followed in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
