Enoch Graham Lawley

Enoch Graham Lawley, age 73, of Lawley, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at his home.
Mr. Lawley worked for the state of Alabama from 1976-2001. He has been retired since 2001. He was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church. He also enjoyed barbecuing and taking trips to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Dennis Lawley and Ruby Smitherman Lawley; son, Kenneth Lamar Lawley; and brothers, William Earl Lawley, Thomas Lawley and Luther Lawley.
Mr. Lawley is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Scott Lawley; daughter, Patricia Lawley (Larry) Rainey; son, Harold D. (Angie) Lawley; three grandchildren, Blake Lawley, Kaden Lawley and Trey Rainey; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel Montevallo. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Rehobeth Baptist Church. He lay in-state one hour prior to the service. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. The Rev. Donald Bice and the Rev. Junior Creel officiating.
Active pallbearers included Ricky McGee, B.J. Tankersley, Robert Ingram, Pete Scott, Floyd Smitherman, Blake Lawley and Robert W. Ingram.
Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo directed.
