The Clanton City Council awarded a $18,405 bid for four police car cameras to Brasher Electronics of Odenville during its meeting Monday night.

The cameras are part of a $25,000 ADECA grant awarded to Clanton and will be paid for entirely out of that state money.

In other business, the council approved Hull and Russell to conduct the city’s 2010 audit.
