Chilton County Schools Superintendent Dave Hayden said he does not know whether schools will be required to make up days missed because of severe weather Monday and Tuesday.

“We’re waiting on a response from Montgomery as to whether we will have to make up days,” Hayden said. “We will advise as soon as possible.”

All county schools were closed Monday, and schools in Maplesville and Isabella remained closed Tuesday because of power outages and road closures.
