Mertie Rea Montgomery, 85, of Remlap died Saturday, Aug. 2 at TLC Health Care, Oneonta.
She was born on Sunday, March 11, 1923 in Chilton Co., daughter of the late Elbert Mims and the late Minnie Day Hosey.
She was a Certified Public Accountant.
Surviving are Sister, Ruth Turner of Trussville; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday, Aug. 4, at 2 pm. at graveside only with Richard Statham officiating.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Methodist Cemetery, Clanton.
