Tony Derrell Pierce, 50, of Verbena died Monday, Aug. 11.
He was born on Sunday, April 27, 1958 in Chilton County, son of the late Derrell Euen Pierce and Jean Wilson Pierce. He was a mechanic.
Survivors include his daughter, Kala (Val) Gostian of Palm Harbor, Fla.; son, Lynn (Carol) Foshee of Thorsby; four grandsons, Issac Gostian of Palm Harbor, Fla., Nicolas Gostian of Palm Harbor, Fla., Thomas Foshee of Thorsby, Noah Foshee of Thorsby; granddaughter, Skye Rearden of Prattville; mother, Jean Pierce of Prattville; brother, Rickey Pierce, Sr. of Billingsley; nieces and nephews, Amanda Giovinco, Billie Gene Pierce, Betty Jo Pierce and Ricky W. Pierce Jr.
He was preceded in death by his father, Derrell Euen Pierce, grandparents; Gene and Grace Wilson and Sarah and E.I. Pierce; uncle, Daniel E. Wilson. He was a loving and devoted father, son, brother and grandfather. He will be missed so very much by family and friends.
Graveside services will be held today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Hardy and the Rev. Wendell Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley.
