Alan Wayne McAlpin, 47, of Marbury died Friday, Oct. 24.
He was born Friday, June 16, 1961, in Germany, son of David J. McAlpin and the late Joyce Booth. He was a cook.
Survivors include his sons, David McAlpin of Clanton, James McAlpin of Clanton; father, David J. McAlpin of Fayetteville, N.C.; two sisters, Sonja Politsch of Fayetteville, N.C., Vicky Henning of Fayetteville, N.C. Friends will be received 30 minutes prior to service.
A memorial services will be held Sunday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
