Rickey Brasher

Rickey Steven Brasher, 54, of Maplesville died Saturday, Nov. 29, at his residence.
He was born on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1954, in Jefferson County, son of the late Willie Clyde Brasher and the late Evelyn Madden Brasher. He was a mechanic.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Brasher of Maplesville; three sons, Chris Brasher of Maplesville, Adam Brasher of Prattville, Kevin Brasher of Maplesville; daughter, Tracy Brasher of Maplesville; three grandchildren, 35 nieces and 48 great nieces and nephews; five brothers, James Brasher, Keith Brasher, Clyde Brasher, Rammy Brasher, George
Brasher; six sisters, Margarette Harrison, Verba Lee Compton, Glennette Edwards, Bonnie Webb, Aline Headley, Sherri Lynn Haigler.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Clyde Brasher, and mother, Evelyn Brasher.
Friends were receivedfrom 6-8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 30, at Martin Funeral Home. Services were held Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Graveside, Antioch Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Cleckler officiating. Interment followed in Antioch Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville.
