A funeral service for Mrs. Martha Lee Burt Horton, 67, of Columbia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, in the Chapel of Martin Funeral Home in Clanton.
The Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at Martin Funeral Home.
Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family in Columbia, and Martin Funeral Home in Clanton.

Mrs. Horton died Dec. 3. Born Oct. 9, 1941, in Charleston, SC, she was daughter of the late John W. and Lucille Shields Burt. She attended the Holiness Church of Maplesville during her residence there.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert Horton; step-daughter, Diane (Gerald) Blume; son, R. D. Horton, Jr.; daughters, Shirley Ann Howell, Margaret Marie Fluitt; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
