Ronald Clyde Christian Jr., 53, of Verbena died Sunday, Feb. 1.
He was born on Sunday, July 3, 1955 in Saginaw, Mich, son of the late Ronald Clyde Christian Sr. and Shirley Phillips Christian. He was a carpenter.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Christian of Verbena; two daughters, Angel (Tom) Schumann of Verbena and Veronica Christian of Millbrook; two sons, Ronnie (Becky) Christian III of Prattville and James (Leslie) Christian of Prattville; mother, Shirley Christian of Verbena; sister, Ruth (Chuck) Tait of Vebena; three brothers, Dennis (LeeAnn) Christian of Standish, Mich., Rex (Kim) Christian of Verbena and Jimbo (Lora) Christian of Pots Camp, Miss.; eight grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends, Wild Bama Hogs — Ron, Rolly, Rolo and Sheldon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Christian Sr.; brother, William Christian; and grandson, Shawn Stewart.
Friends will be received from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.
