Roy Edwin Price, 66, of Clanton died Monday, Feb. 9, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
He was born on Friday, May 22, 1942 in Chilton County, son of the late Harold Edwin Price and Agnes Minor Cleckley. He was a songwriter.
Surviving are his two sons, Harold Edwin Price of Clanton and Roy Keith Price of Clanton; daughter, Agnes Elizabeth Anello of Clanton; brother, Wayne Cleckley of Clanton; mother, Agnes Cleckley of Clanton; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. today, Feb. 10, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
