Reasie J. Kennedy, 97, of Clanton died yesterday at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born on Wednesday, March 29, 1911, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Reedie Jones and the late Amanda Jones.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her sister-in-law, Ona Lee Jones of Clanton; sister-in-law Catherine Jones Gillespie of Clanton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Clanton City Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Dovey and the Rev. Zack Bates officiating.
