Funeral services for Mr. John Henry “Bubba” Rogers, 74, of Clanton, will be held Saturday, Aug. 29 at 1 p.m. from Hopewell Baptist Church in Clanton. Interment will follow at Agee Memory Gardens.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Zadie Rogers; six sons, Arnie Rogers, Royce (Etelka) Rogers, Lenard (Lillian) Rogers and Quinton Rogers, all of Clanton, Roderick (Karen) Browder of Columbus, Ohio, and Kevin Bolding of Boston; one daughter, Deidra (Renard) Wright of Clanton; two sisters, Edna B. Motley of Clanton and Josephine Traywick of Detroit; two sister-in-laws, Hattie Christian of Detroit and Sarah Taylor of Birmingham; a devoted nephew, Freddie L. Rogers of Detroit; 13 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
