Frances Metts Williams, 84, of Clanton died Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born on Friday, May 22, 1925 in Tennessee.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her three daughters, Patti (Roy) Connell of Indan Springs, Gail (Kyle) Porter of Thorsby, and Jan (Joe) Mims of Clanton; six grandchildren, Phillip (Holly) Porter, Justin Porter, Tim (Rhonda) Connell, Todd (Lisa) Connell, Jana Mims, and Jessica Mims; four Great-Grandchildren, Marybeth Porter, Makiley Porter, Kaitlin Hedderley, Claire Connell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Williams.
Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Harlen Harris officiating.
Interment will follow in Thorsby City Cemetery.
