Dorothy Elizabeth Wyatt, 86, of Clanton died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Monday, July 16, 1923 in Chilton County, daughter of the late W.L. Sanders and the late Ludie Bell Weldon Sanders.
She was a secretary for Liberty National and owned and operated a restaurant for 15 years. She was a devoted sister, wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Addis R. Wyatt of Clanton; daughter, Denise (Michael) Wyatt Lutz of Clanton; two granddaughters, Brittany Bivins of Montevallo and Sarah Klinger of Clanton; grandson, Austin Wyatt Bivins of Troy; five sisters, Eleanor Estes of Clanton, Annie Lee Walker of Clanton, Doris Davis of Clanton, Myra Patterson of Clanton and Linda Short of Clanton; and brother, Othea Sanders of Montevallo.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roland Sanders, Charles Sanders and Carl Sanders; and sister, Essie Bowles.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1 p.m. at Concord Baptist Cemetery in Clanton. Martin Funeral Home directing.
