The Rev. Cecil DeLoach

The Rev. Cecil DeLoach, 86, of Millbrook died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at Nolan Hospital in Montgomery.

He was born Saturday, March 21, 1925, in Alabama, son of the late Clifton Elonza DeLoach and the late Sadie Belle Stroud DeLoach.

He was in the ministry for 50 years and wrote sermon outlines for the Southern Baptist Convention.

Surviving are his wife, Mary B. DeLoach of Millbrook; three daughters, Cecelia DeLoach (Mike) Adams of Prattville, Betty DeLoach Foote of Orange Beach and Joy DeLoach Lord of Houston, Texas; son, James (Karen) DeLoach of Millbrook; grandchildren, David, Chris, Phillip, Scott, Heather, Mark, Mitchell, Jamey, Hynes, Elizabeth, Alec and Sean; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jeffrey Krantz; and grandson, Brian Arthur DeLoach.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 30 at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church in Autauga County.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Roy officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Methodist Cemetery in Autauga County.
