Glenda Sue Powell, 66, of Clanton died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Sunday, Dec. 19, 1943, in Chilton County, daughter of the late C.M. “Bill” Coggins and the late Aberdean Baker Coggins.
She was an office manager.
Surviving are her husband, William Moses Powell of Clanton; sister, Norma (Jim) Popwell of Clanton; and two nephews, Greg Popwell of Helena and Darren Popwell of Birmingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.M. “Bill” and Aberdean Coggins.
Friends were received from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18.
Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tony Hughes officiating.
Interment will follow in Walnut Creek United Methodist Cemetery.
