Lillie Mae Short, 96, of Maplesville died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
She was born on Friday, Jan. 24, 1913, in Chilton County, daughter of the late John Kendrick and the late Belinda Keen Kendrick.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Keener of Maplesville; two sons, Mr. Efton Short of Prattville and Mr. John Earl Short of Maplesville; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Earlo Short; and son, Mr. Winston Short.
Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church with the Rev. Willard Ratliff, the Rev. William Earl Short and the Rev. Fred Donovan officiating.
Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Cemetery, Maplesville.
