Luckie Lenora Carden, 78, of Jemison died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born Saturday, Sept. 5, 1931, in Tuscaloosa, daughter of the late Chalmus Martin Brown and the late Hazel Jae Cole.
She was a machine operator.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Earl Carden of Jemison; two sons, John (Mary) Butler of Pell City and Thomas (Diane) Butler, Calif.; two daughters, Tammy (Mike) Raines of Bethpage, Tenn. and Leah Gray of Clanton; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce Tinker of Pell City and Rebecca (Herman) West of Oneonta.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Ruchs; and grandson, Roger Eugene Waldrop.
Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, May 13 at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Friday, May 14 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Ayers officiating.
Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
