Dear Editor, The Advertiser,

Mr. Bentley has been praised for doing a good job on the drain problem in our town. The showers that we have got lately are very welcomed, but the problems haven’t been solved, my whole yard is flooded each and every time it rains. My air condition unit is half underwater, not to say what my front yard looks like a wading pond. The ditches are completely stopped up with the hay the city put in after they dug the ditches out, so if we have to go out during a shower we are wet half way up our legs. So what is the city going to do to fix the problem?
