Swindle leads Jemison to win

Javae Swindle rushed for 291 yards to lead Jemison to a 33-20 win over the Marbury Bulldogs. A huge chunk of Swindle’s yards came on two consecutive Panther possessions in the third quarter.
The game was close at 14-7 when Swindle scored on a 93-yard run. Marbury responded with a touchdown of its own, but Swindle again ripped the game open with a 77-yard run that set up a 1-yard TD scamper by quarterback Tre Bryant to put the visiting team up 27-13.
Eddie Hubbard then returned a punt 61 yards for Jemison’s final touchdown of the night.
Marbury would add another touchdown but couldn’t get closer than 33-20.
Swindle finished the night with 291 yards on 26 carries and three touchdowns.
Bryant finished 12-of-16 passing with 109 yards. His top receiver was Randy Satterfield with 44 yards on four catches. Hubbard added another 41 yards on five catches.
Madison Bolton had an outstanding game on defense with 20 tackles, four for a loss and one sack. Dustin McDaniel and Trahe Smith each hand an interception.
Jemison finishes the season with a 6-4 record.
