Tammie Carol Hackett, 47, of Clanton died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham.

She was born Sunday, March 22, 1964, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Lee Grant Kirkland and the late Louise Cleckler Kirkland.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Seth Hackett of Clanton; son, Brandon Walter Hackett of Clanton; grandson, Timmy Hackett of Clanton; and two brothers, David Lee Kirkland of Clanton and Jimmy Wayne  Cleckler of Thorsby.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rick Hatchett, the Rev. Oscar Mims and the Rev. J.T. Meank officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
