Girls: Heather Chambers, Maplesville softball

Posted a team-best .750 on-base percentage, despite suffering a twisted knee, as the Red Devils won the Class 1A South Central Regional tournament on May 7-8 by defeating Billingsley (10-0), Wadley (15-0), and Sweet Water twice (9-0 and 8-5). Maplesville clinched a state tournament berth by winning the regional.
