Ila Mae Nelson Anderson, 84, of Clanton died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011.

She was born Wednesday, March 2, 1927, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Milford Gore and the late Gertie Mae Gore.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, Barry (Tracey) Nelson of Clanton; daughter-in-law, Donna Nelson of Clanton; two grandsons, Leighton Nelson of Clanton and Noah Nelson of Clanton; granddaughter, Paige (Steve) Green of Clanton; two great-granddaughters, Carlisle Green of Clanton and Avery Powell of Clanton; and sister, Helen Jones of Billingsley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, M.O. Nelson; second husband, John Anderson; and son, Donnie Nelson.

Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rick Marshall officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
