Anyone doing business with the City of Jemison this week should take care of it by Thursday.

City Clerk Mary Ellison announced City Hall will be closed Friday, Dec. 19 because they will not have electricity. The company constructing a new roof for the building will need to shut off electricity for that day.

Closings will also occur on Dec. 24, 25 and 26, as well as Jan. 1.
