Helen Wyatt Scott, 74, of Clanton died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at UAB in Birmingham.

She was born Monday, Feb. 22, 1937, in Alabama, daughter of the late Curtis Daniel Wyatt and Jewel Cost Wyatt.

She was a lifelong nurse and caregiver.

Surviving are her husband, Max Scott of Clanton; two daughters, Nita Scott Stillwell of Jonesboro, Ark. and Suzanne Scott Trammell of Vestavia; two sons, Jimmy K. Scott of Denver, Colo. and Russell Scott of Memphis, Tenn.; mother, Jewel C. Wyatt of Clanton; two sisters, Sherry Willums of Prattville and Gayla Jones of Columbiana; four brothers, John Will Wyatt of Summerville, Ga., Danny Wyatt of Clanton, Joe Wyatt of Dothan and Randall Wyatt of Clanton; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 5:30-8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. at Clanton First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Anderson officiating.

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
