The Tigers (12-7, 2-3 Southeastern Conference) pulled ahead in the first half with some impressive 3-point shooting, then turned the game into a rout by scoring the last 14 points of the second.
Stefan Welsh led Arkansas (12-5, 0-4) with 14 points.
Welsh made a 3-pointer on Arkansas’ first trip down court, a good omen for a team that had been struggling from the outside. However, it was Auburn that put on a first-half shooting clinic, starting 7-of-8 from 3-point range and entering the intermission up 38-31.
DeWayne Reed finished with 16 points to lead the Tigers. Tay Waller added 14, including four first-half 3-pointers.
