The 2009 Chilton County 4-H/FFA Steer and Heifer Show will take place Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. at the Chilton County Fairgrounds.

The steer auction will take place at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public.

The Chilton County Extension offices encourages everyone to come out and support these area youth. The show is the culmination of the work the 4-Hers have put into their project over many months.

Animal care, teamwork, responsibility, and work ethic are just a few of the important lessons these students learn. The animals will be also be shown in Montgomery at the district and state shows early in March.
