Clanton heating station currently open during frigid temperatures

The City of Clanton has opened its warming station at Clanton City Hall for residents to ride out the dangerously low temperatures this week. The city announced the opening on Jan. 19 that the warming station will be opened on Jan. 20 and remain open throughout the duration of the low temperatures.
The city is partnering with the Chilton County Sheriff’s Office for the warming station. The warming station is located in the baseball of Clanton City Hall, and a police officer will be present to assist anyone. The warming station is currently open.
