The City of Clanton’s Water Works & Sewer Board released a statement earlier in December regarding the changing of the due date of resident’s water, sewer and garbage bills to the 15th of each month.

According to the Director of Utilities for the City of Clanton Stanley Higgins, the change will become effective in January 2025. Customers will not be required to make any changes to existing auto draft (ACH) payments, and the new draft date will be the 15th of each month. The cutoff date for nonpayment will be the 26th of each month.
