The new Miss Swedish Queens were crowned on Oct. 5 in the heart of the city they represent at the 2024 City of Thorsby’s Swedish Festival Beauty Pageant. Maggy Harrelson had her name read as the newest Miss Swedish Queen to begin her reign, and four other young girls were crowned during the pageant at the Thorsby High School auditorium. Addison Cordell was named the new Junior Miss Swedish Queen, Alaina Oldroyd the new Young Miss Swedish Queen, Maddilyn Lucas the new Little Miss Swedish Queen and Aiyanna Nolasco as the new Tiny Miss Swedish Queen. Photogenic winners were named in each division as well at the pageant.
