The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles held 22 hearings on Oct. 2, and three of them involved Chilton County offenders with two being granted and one being denied.

First, Kelvin Tiwian Anderson was granted parole by the board. Anderson received parole with the special conditions to complete a drug assessment upon release, wear a GPS ankle monitor and register with Alabama Experience (ALEX). Anderson’s fiancé Condalease Jackson spoke in favor of parole being granted hearing the hearing. Anderson was serving an 81-month sentence for a Theft of Property I arrest on Sept. 15, 2022 in Chilton County, along with eight other concurrent sentences. Anderson had served two years and 28 days of his sentence at the time of his release with 358 days of good time received and 161 days of good time revoked included, and had a minimum release date of Jan. 18, 2026.

Secondly, Tiffany Rockell Kine was granted parole by the board as well. Kine received parole with special conditions of living in an approved halfway house, wearing a GPS ankle monitor and completing a drug assessment upon release. Kine’s brother-in-law Lindett Cutts and aunt Shirley Kine spoke in favor of parole being granted during the hearing. Kine was serving a 60-month sentence for Distribution of Controlled Substance arrest on June 6 in Chilton County. Anderson had served one year, three months and 13 days of her sentence with 346 days of jail credit and 310 days of good time received included, and had a minimum release date of Aug. 3, 2025.

Lastly, Travis Michael Williams was denied parole by the board, but received a reset date of October 2025. Williams’ sister Mikenzie Williams, mother Tonya Washburn and attorney Lauren Faraino all spoke in favor of him being granted parole, but Sarah Deneve of the Attorney General’s office spoke against parole being granted. Williams is currently serving a 10-year sentence for a Trafficking Methamphetamines arrest on July 20, 2022. Williams is also serving a 36-month sentence for an Assault II charge concurrently. Williams has served four years, three months and 15 days of his sentence with 757 days of jail credit included. Williams minimum release date is set for June 22, 2030.
