The Chilton County Relay for Life Queens recently took the time to visit with children at the Maplesville Public Library to read stories and interact in the community during the Summer Reading Program. The queens, Junior Miss Kinnsley Traywick, Young Miss Ava Whittle, Little Miss Kailynn Bailey, Tiny Miss Caroline Ray and Wee Miss Haizel Grace Smith read two books to the children about outer space, and afterwards, helped them make paper rockets.

The queens joined the children for a snack, played games and interacted with the library staff as well.
