The Chilton County 4-H announced recently that rising senior Marynn Vaith from Chilton County High School will serve as an Alabama 4-H Ambassador for 2024-2025.
Vaith has been involved with the 4-H program in Chilton County for nearly seven years, and she started when she was eight years old. The fun after-school activity quickly turned into something that became a huge part of her life.
“My favorite memory from 4-H has to also be my first, which is learning to make ham & cheese croissants, something I still go back to today,” Vaith said.
She added that as an Alabama 4-H Ambassador, she is looking forward to making an impact in young member’s lives. She also hopes to help create moments and memories for them that they can look back on for years.
The Alabama 4-H Ambassador Program is a program that consists of junior and senior 4-H members from high schools across the state who best supports the mission and vision of 4-H. During her time serving as an ambassador, Vaith will help support various local, county, regional and statewide programs and activities through public presentations, leadership development opportunities and community service.
