Chilton County’s six varsity boy’s programs will converge at Chilton County High School starting on Jan. 2 for the 2024 installment of the Chilton County Varsity Boys Basketball Tournament. For crowd purposes, the tournament will be held at CCHS but Verbena High School is the host school this year.

The Tigers, winners of the 2023 county tournament, tip off the tournament against Verbena at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 2 in the first round, followed by 2023 county tournament runner-up Maplesville and Isabella high schools in the second first-round matchup the following day at 6:30 p.m.

The number one seed Thorsby High School awaits the winner of the CCHS and Verbena game in the first semifinal scheduled for Jan. 4 at 6:30 p.m. The two seed Jemison High School will face the winner of Maplesville and Isabella in the second semifinal.

The championship game will close out the three county tournaments on Jan. 6 at 3:30 p.m.
