MONTGOMERY POST – A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:20 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, has claimed the life of a Price, Miss., man. Robert E. Johnson Jr., 73, was fatally injured when the 2002 Chevrolet Suburban he was driving left the roadway and struck an unoccupied Ford pickup sitting on the shoulder. Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Interstate 65 near the 216 mile marker, approximately three miles south of Jemison, in Chilton County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
