Small Town Spring Fling is coming to Maplesville on April 8, and there is still time for vendors to get in on the fun.

Christine Epperson, who is a part of the organizing committee, said the festival is serving as a fundraiser for Old Fashioned Christmas.

“Last year, Old Fashioned Christmas, we … started getting a few fair rides at our event in December,” Epperson said. “Those are expensive, so we were kind of hunting something to help us with (the cost of) that and other things that we do, so we can keep having it for free.”

Vendors that have already signed up include those selling arts and crafts, baked goods and other food.

The cost to reserve a 10×10 space is $45. Epperson said spaces with electricity hook up are available for $55. Those interested in being a vendor can contact Karen Ford at 334-518-9319 or Epperson at 334-259-4188. Deadline to register is March 31.

Small Town Spring Fling will be April 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the main street of Maplesville rain or shine.

Admission is free, but there will be a cost for some activities. JC’s Party Rentals will have inflatables for Kid’s Corner at the event. There will also be a petting zoo and pony rides.

Chances to win an Easter basket for a boy or an Easter basket for a girl will be available. The winner will be announced at 1 p.m.

The Easter bunny is also expected to make an appearance.
