All basketball games featuring Chilton County area basketball teams on Jan. 12 were cancelled due to inclement weather. Five games were on the Jan. 12 docket for area high schools and four were crucial area matchups. Some games have already been rescheduled for a later date, but some are still finding a new date. The Maplesville High School vs. Dallas County High School game will not be made up as it is a non-area matchup.

The Jemison High School varsity boy’s team will now play on the road on Jan. 16 against Sylacauga High School instead of home against Holy Family Catholic School. Plans are still being made to reschedule the varsity girl’s game.

 

Here is a list of the rescheduled games from Jan. 12:

Benjamin Russell High School @ Chilton County High School: Jan. 13 at 5:30 p.m.

Fayetteville High School @ Isabella High School: Jan. 23rd at 5:30 p.m.

Verbena High School @ Billingsley High School: Jan. 31 at 5 p.m.

Jemison High School @ Sylacauga High School: Jan. 16 at 6:30 p.m. (varsity boy’s only)
