Mustangs have no problem with Marion

The Isabella baseball team out-hit visiting Francis Marion 13-1 yesterday and won by the same margin, 12-0, in five innings.
Blake Lawley gave up only the hit in five innings of work while striking out 13 to earn the win.
Austin Anderson went 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles. Willie Stacy also had two hits in three at-bats. Stacy drove in four runs.
Austin Haigler went 2-for-3 with one RBI, and brother Sean Haigler, keeping the theme alive, went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI.
The win improves the Mustangs to 6-10 on the season and 2-0 in Class 2A, Area 6 play.
Next, Isabella visits St. Jude at 4 p.m. Friday for another area game.
