Chilton County Schools will be releasing at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 30

Superintendent Jason Griffin said the after-school program will be canceled as well.

“(We) hope to have everyone off the roads before the significant amount of rain from Hurricane Ida reaches us,” Griffin said.

School buses will run the usual routes, leaving at 2 p.m.
