First Assembly of God in Clanton is hosting its first-ever Widows’ Banquet on June 21 at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, located in the same building as the main sanctuary.

“It’s totally free to any of the widows in the community,” Aaron Argo, youth and music pastor at the church, said.

Argo said First Assembly is hosting the event “just to let them know that we’re thinking about them and praying for them, and we wanted to have an event just for them.”

The event will feature a complimentary dinner and special guest speaker Marlene Craft.

Childcare is not provided.
