Jemison’s Allstate Insurance office, now called the Reynolds Family Agency, is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 17 beginning at 11 a.m., to provide ample opportunity for community members to meet their new Allstate agent.
Agent Harrell Reynolds and his wife Cathy Reynolds officially opened business on March 1, taking the reins after former owner Chris Millard retired.
Harrell Reynolds has 40 years of experience in the insurance business.
“It’s nothing new to me,” he said.
The meet-and-greet event will offer grilled hot dogs, snacks and drinks to guests as they interact with the Reynolds and employees Mary Cullum, Mary Sazera and Hailee Card.
“We’ll have some door prizes that people can register for, and we’ll have some giveaways,” Cathy Reynolds said.
Members of the Chilton County Chamber of Commerce, as well as local officials, will be in attendance.
“The main thing is we want to show our appreciation to our existing clients, and we want to meet as many as we possibly can, so they can get to know who their agent is,” Harrell Reynolds said. “I think that’s very important.”
It will also be helpful for advertising the agency to those who are unfamiliar with it, Reynolds said.
The Reynolds Family Agency is located at 62 Church St. in Jemison.
