Jemison First Baptist Church has officially opened registration for Vacation Bible School 2018, themed this year as “Game On!”

“Everyone’s invited,” Brother Rex Kent of Jemison First Baptist Church said.

There is no cost.

The VBS will feature one week of sport-themed fun, beginning with evening activities on June 3 from 5 to 8 p.m., and continuing throughout the week between 9 a.m. and noon. VBS will wrap up on June 7.

“There’s Bible study, and then there’s missions study,” Kent said. “We have recreation and crafts, and then lunch will be served at the end.”

Classes are for children from 4 years old to sixth grade.

“We want to teach children about Jesus and about the love of God, and we hope that some of them will become disciples of Christ,” Kent said.
