Robert Howe Pennington, 62, of Jemison, passed away on Sept. 30 at his residence.
He was born on April 16, 1951, in Birmingham, the son of the late Clyde P. Pennington and the late Alama C. Watson Pennington.
He was a former welder with U.S. Steel.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Lemons of Jemison; daughter, Felicia Pennington of Hoover; son, Robert C. Pennington of Alabaster; daughter, Tammy L. Pennington of Oxford; daughter, Ashley F. Pennington of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; brother, Jimmy H. Pennington (Sue) of Iowa; sister, Alma Sue Wells (Billy) of Bessemer; sister, Betty Ann Miller (Ray) of Nashville, Tenn.; brother, Frankie Leon Pennington of Bessemer and a sister, Martha Gail Richardson (Gerald) of Oneonta.
Visitation will be held on Oct. 1 from 5-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Oct. 2 at 2 p.m. from the memorial chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Shane D. Ogle officiating.
Burial will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
