In a close match between local teams, Thorsby defeated Chilton County High School on Tuesday, 3-2 (25-27, 25-14, 21-25, 25-17, 17-15).
Keela Lucas had 21 assists for the Rebels.
Jennifer Spivey posted 10 kills, Sabrina Ellison had 10 kills and 10 aces, Erica Hilyer had four aces and Katelyn Beam had seven kills and three aces.
CCHS’s JV was victorious, 2-0 (25-22, 28-26), despite four aces each from Thorsby’s Lauren Wyatt and Anna Hilyer.
Kerri Robinson added four digs and three saves for the Rebels, and Brooke Adams had three aces.
Thorsby’s middle school team won, 2-0 (25-15, 25-13).
Kaitlyn Lowery recorded 10 aces, and Lauren Reeser had three aces.
