Mary LeDean Peters 69, of Jemison, passed away suddenly on April 6, 2013, at Prattville Baptist Medical Center.

She was born in Chilton County on Oct. 31, 1943, the daughter of the late Julius Daniel Easterling and the late Velma Pearl Moates Easterling.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Levis W. Peters Sr. of Jemison; son, Levis Wayne (Vivian) Peters Jr. of Jemison; son, Kenneth Peters of Jemison; daughter, Kleasa L. (Mike) Boozer of Mobile; son, Kevin D. Peters of Prattville; son, Michael Ray of Jemison; daughter, Penny (Melvin) Hewitt of Illinois; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Carl (Pam) Easterling of Bessemer; brother, Rusty (Sherry) Easterling of Clanton and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on April 9, from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be on April 10 at 11 a.m. from Mineral Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Rothe and the Rev. Don Vanderslice officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
