All three Clanton teams in championship games

Three Clanton youth baseball all-star teams are hosting playoff tournaments, and all three will play in championship games on Tuesday.
Wins for two of those teams would mean berths in their respective Dixie Youth Baseball state tournaments.
The AA, or 7- and 8-year-old, Clanton team defeated Monroe County, 10-3, on Saturday and will play Valley Grande on Tuesday at 6 at City Park—the same time and place as the other two championship games.
The O-Zone (11- and 12-year-olds) team, meanwhile, will play Selma, who beat Chiltauga, 14-4 in an elimination game on Monday.
The AA and O-Zone teams are playing for their district championships and a berth in state tournaments. The AAA (9- and 10-year-olds) team, meanwhile, is playing in its sub-district tournament.
The top two teams from the sub-district advance to a district tournament—at a site that has not yet been determined—so Clanton AAA is on to the next round no matter what happens in Tuesday’s game against Chiltauga, who defeated Valley Grande, 13-3, on Monday.
Because none of the Clanton teams have lost a game in the double-elimination tournaments, their championship round opponents would have to win twice to advance over the Clanton team.
